Wild West Texas Traveling Box

From: (janet@redbarnretreat.com) | Date: 2013-09-02 08:48:54 UTC-07:00

We are in possession of the box and will be releasing it in a week or so.  I'd like to make it available in the Houston area.  If I place it, will anyone come?  It has fewer than 10 stamps at this point, but they are all well done, so it's worth finding.

I would love to get my hands on it, but will certainly wait my turn.  I'm just happy it is safe!

Yes, of course!

Please be advised that Yahoo! snoops emails, both outgoing and incoming.  If you communicate with me at this address, Yahoo! is spying on you, sometimes in person.

When you use Yahoo services, you aren’t just sharing with Yahoo: you’re sharing with hundreds of third-party companies you’ve never heard of. And some of these partners are pretty sensitive. For example, Yahoo’s Privacy Policy notes that “Yahoo! advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).”

Good.  According to the rules of Texas Traveling boxes, I will post the clues on the letterboxingtexas board and the message title will include the name of the box, Wild West Show and Rodeo.  This is meant to give everyone an equal chance, but I don't think there's that many Houston boxers anymore.  I'm not familiar with RycRaft, but if you are new to letterboxing, perhaps I should contact you offline to tell you about how a traveling box works and the responsibilities finding one entails.  Would you like for me to do that?  Are you a member of Atlas Quest?  If so, I can contact you that way. The last finders were a little overwhelmed and ended up passing it to me without adding stamps.  You might start looking for the clues early next week.
